Deleting your data
Senseroutine has no account, so there is nothing to “close”. Deleting what is on your phone and deleting what is on our server work differently.
01On your phone — uninstalling is enough
Your results, personal bests, challenge points and settings all live on the device. Uninstalling the app erases them on the spot; there is nothing to ask us for.
To keep the app but clear its records, go to Settings → Apps → Senseroutine → Storage → Clear data.
02On our server — you need to ask
Some records are held on our server to calculate group averages and for research. To have them deleted, write to privacy@senseroutine.com.
Because there is no account, we cannot look you up by name. Please include the user identifier shown at the bottom of the app’s settings screen — without it we have no way to tell which records are yours.
We verify the request and complete it within 30 days, then reply to confirm.
03What is deleted, and what is not
- Deleted — training records collected under that identifier (exercise type, result, time, age band).
- Not deleted — values already pseudonymised into statistics and research. They no longer identify anyone, so we cannot tell which are yours.
- Not deleted — records we are required by law to retain, where that applies, for the retention period.
04Advertising and analytics data
Advertising and analytics data are processed by Google. Deleting your advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads breaks the link going forward.
Deleting what Google already holds follows Google’s own process; we cannot do it on your behalf.
05Opting out of research only
You may want to keep your records but not have them used in research. Write to privacy@senseroutine.com and we will stop processing anything collected from then on for research purposes.
